RAMNIWAS MEENA

Ramniwas Meena’s life story is one of resilience, determination, and a deep commitment to public service. Born in 1958 in a family with strong roots in farming and education, Meena imbibed the values of hard work and learning from an early age. His educational journey began in government schools, where his academic excellence and quick wit earned him recognition among teachers and peers. Completing his higher studies in geography, history, and economics, Meena also delved into the National Cadet Corps (NCC) and the National Defense Academy (NDA), displaying a multifaceted approach to learning and growth.

IAS of Jaipur After a few days of studying in the coaching institute, Ramniwas Meena got posted in government service in the year 1980. Today, when the youth is running towards government jobs, but at that time, Ramniwas Meena, moving in the opposite direction of this race, gave up his attachment to government jobs in just 6 years in 1986 and joined the real estate business. It was here that the feelings of social service awakened in the life of Ramnivas Meena.

Meena says that when he joined the government service in 1980, he did not have his own house to live in Jaipur. In such a situation, he started living in a rented room with his family. During this time, he found a large number of people in Jaipur who were forced to live in a dilemma due to lack of a roof. Seeing the people struggling without a house, Ramnivas Meena decided that instead of living in the suffocation of government service, they would get engaged in the work of providing people the happiness of giving them a house.

Ramnivas Meena, who considered his happiness in giving happiness to others through real estate business, also got involved in mining business in the year 2016-17. In the mining business, when he saw the nearby villagers struggling for basic needs, Ramnivas Meena helped the needy with both hands. This is the reason why people in eastern Rajasthan call him Bhamashah. Ramanivas Meena has undertaken various social initiatives to alleviate the grievances of the common people, including distributing food supplies to the needy with financial assistance, providing housing to the homeless, arranging marriages for the daughters of poor families, expanding facilities in government schools for students from impoverished families, honoring brave women and installing statues of great personalities, constructing temples for the propagation of religion along with supporting religious activities, ensuring adequate water supply for settlements and irrigation for farmers in villages, providing road construction facilities to those suffering from lack of access, organizing health check-up and counseling camps for the general public on the lines of the first happiness being a healthy body, conducting free operations for patients suffering from cataracts to provide vision, and organizing sports competitions to promote sporting talent, among many other social endeavors, benefiting thousands of people.

A large number of farmers of the area met at Ram Nivas Meena in 2017 and informed about the increasing problem of irrigation and drinking water. For this, Ramnivas Meena considered it necessary to approve the proposed Eastern Rajasthan Canal Project (ERCP) of the state government and along with the farmers of the area, started creating public awareness for the approval of ERCP. For this, Ramniwas Meena first performed the Maha Aarti of Chambal by taking hundreds of farmers to the Chambal river in Mandrayal subdivision of Karauli on the border of Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh.Along with this, memorandums were submitted to the collectors of 13 districts in the name of the Prime Minister. Under the leadership of Ramniwas Meena, a signature campaign in the name of the Prime Minister was also conducted in Eastern Rajasthan. Along with this, by visiting 13 districts of Eastern Rajasthan, Ramniwas Meena not only made the farmers aware but also united them prominently through Kisan Mahapanchayats. To make the common people easily aware about ERCP, a short film Chambal ki Chithi was prepared and the film was shown to the common people in every village. Along with this, by organizing women’s rallies and Mahila Mahakumbh, women were united for the water of Chambal and by involving water man Rajendra Singh and social activist Anna Hazare, the common people were made aware about ERCP on a large scale.

Due to the tireless efforts of Ramnivas Meena, the Central Government has approved ERCP along with the MoU between the Government of Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. Ramniwas Meena is today recognized as a big farmer leader and BJP leader along with Bhamashah and Paaniwale Baba of Eastern Rajasthan.

Bhamashah Ramniwas Meena says that the only goal of his life is to make the farmers of Eastern Rajasthan happy. This is the reason that in order to get the approval of ERCP (PKC- Integrated ERCP) which brings happiness in every farmer’s house, he went to every village of Eastern Rajasthan through public awareness campaign and made the farmers united and aware about ERCP. The work of doing has been done prominently.

Now after the approval of ERCP, the first priority will be to start the work on Parvati-Kalisindh-Chambal Project (Integrated ERCP) as soon as possible under the upcoming plan, so that the farmers start getting the benefits of this project as soon as possible. If Chambal water reaches the fields of eastern Rajasthan through canals, then surely no one will be able to stop the income of farmers from doubling. This progress of farmers will play an important role in fulfilling the goal of a developed India of the country’s successful Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.

Bhamashah Ramniwas Meena says that even after the success of integrated ERCP, there should never be a water crisis in Eastern Rajasthan, for this, like Chambal River, the water of Yamuna River will also be diverted through canals to the districts of Eastern Rajasthan, Bharatpur, Dausa, Karauli, Alwar and Sawai Madhopur. The plan to deliver from will be realized.

Born in a farmer family, Bhamashah Ramniwas Meena is completely dedicated to the farmers. Although water is the basic basis of everyone’s life, but for the farmer, water is an invaluable asset. This is the reason why Ram Niwas Meena left no stone unturned in conveying the plight of the farmers to the governments from Jaipur to Delhi to provide Chambal water to the farmers.Be it the matter of taking the water of Chambal river flowing on the border of Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan near Mandrayal of Karauli district and sending it to the Honorable Speaker of Lok Sabha Shri Om Birla ji, or the country’s Jal Shakti Minister Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat should go to New Delhi and convey the water of Chambal. Ramnivas Meena did not hesitate at all in making a major demand for ERCP by offering water and made them aware of the major demand of the farmers of Eastern Rajasthan. Along with getting the support of water man Shri Rajendra Singh ji for ERCP, by bringing Gandhi of modern India and pioneer of Gram Swaraj Shri Anna Hazare ji to the land of Eastern Rajasthan for the first time, water Baba Bhamashah Ramniwas Meena proved that he can help the farmers’ suffering. We will not lag behind in taking any step to remove it.

Along with rescuing the farmers of Eastern Rajasthan from the water crisis, providing fertilizers and seeds to the farmers at cheap prices, freeing the farmers from the trap of moneylenders and banking loans, making the children of the farmers highly educated are the important points of the resolution of Bhamashah Ram Niwas Meena. Apart from helping in the spread of religion and culture, providing basic health services to every needy to make the first happiness, a healthy body, meaningful is also a major part of the special works.

Bhamashah Ramniwas Meena believes that the practice of distributing free Rabies should be stopped in the country. Although the beneficiary may get immediate relief, this process does not help in strengthening the country. In such a situation, it is necessary that the infrastructure be strengthened to meet the needs of the common people. Eliminating the water crisis of farmers and motivating them to grow improved crops is a major part of this strong infrastructure.Similarly, there is a great need to work on schemes related to health and education also. Along with employment, the youth should be mentally prepared in such a way that they can come forward and play a big role in building a strong nation. Similarly, there is a great need to take major initiatives to make women self-reliant by providing them a completely safe environment. With this, the resolve of the country’s successful Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for a developed India will be realised.
